The Program Director is here to answer any questions you may have about Great Beginnings, your child's progress in school and your needs as a parent. The Director's goal is to make this educational environment both stimulating and enriching for your early learner as well as to come along side families as children play, learn and explore their capacities to learn new skills and reach & exceed their developmental milestones while enjoying a school where they are valued, cared for and encouraged.
The Program Leader is responsible for organizing and leading activities; engaging children in activities including reading, math, science, the ABEKA curriculum, games, arts & crafts, songs & dance and other activities designed to support their meeting and exceeding developmental and educational milestones. Program Leaders meet with parents and provide daily logs of children’s development and activities within the classroom and Great Beginnings Early Learning Center. Parent Teacher conferences are scheduled twice each year to review your child's progress.
The Program Assistant will assist the Program Leader in carrying out the daily routine including activities, recreational play, curriculum and character building, meal & rest time, outdoor play, reading, language acquisition & development and other activities designed to stimulate the on-going learning of children as they reach and exceed developmental and educational milestones.
