	ENROLLMENT/ADMISSIONS PROCESS
	Great Beginnings Early Learning Center is a preschool that focuses on the developmental, educational, recreational and psychological growth of young children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We are a center working with a Christian Curriculum designed to encourage the healthy adjustment of children as they enter into the community of learning; with a focus on providing tools for them to learn sharing, compassion, patience, honesty, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We come along side parents by developing early learner's educational capacities, along with their abilities to grow, learn, play and explore the world around them.
	Scheduling a school tour is the first step in our application process.
	Group tours are given throughout the year. During the tour, we explain our policies & mission and allow parents to decide whether Great Beginnings is a good match for their family. This allows for a diverse mix of children in the classroom. You may visit alone or with your child as many times as necessary to help you feel comfortable with our program. Children interested in our pre-school program (ages 2-5) will have to come in on the tour to meet the other children and have an in-class interview prior to acceptance into the program.
	Preference is given to families currently enrolled or on our current year wait list. New children are admitted on a first applied basis. We do enroll throughout the academic year as long as space is available.
	A complete application includes: a contract, an application form, a non refundable enrollment fee, one week’s deposit, and one tuition payment. Space (in the class or on the wait list) cannot be guaranteed without a complete application and payment of the enrollment fee and security deposit.
	Before the first day of school children must submit their medical records, immunizations and show proof of identity.
