GREAT BEGINNINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER’S WAIT LIST PROCESS

Great BeginningsEarlyLearningCenter is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all families in our community and to ensuring that the educational and developmental needs of their children are met. The center’s enrollment decisions are consistent with our policies and do not discriminate in providing care or offering enrollment on any basis.

When the center is at full enrollment capacity, families are offered the option of getting on the center’s rolling wait list. Please note that it is the center’s policy that families who want to get on the wait list must do the following:

  1.)     Visit the center for a regularly scheduled open house. This is mandated for the prospective family to ensure that the center’s policies and programs align with their needs.

2.)     Pay the non-refundable enrollment fee of $100 per child. When successfully admitted into full time care at the center, this amount will be credited towards your child(ren)’s first enrollment fee as Great Beginnings Early Learning Center does not charge a wait list fee.

The center’s wait list is updated every 90 days, as such; parents who want to remain active on the center’s wait list must pro-actively confirm their desire to the center either by phone or email. Any family that is wait listed and whom the center does not receive any contact from within 90 days of being wait listed will have their names taken off the wait list.

Families are wait listed on a first come, first serve basis. You will receive an electronic receipt for your payment with your assigned wait list number when your complete wait list application and payment are received by the center.  Please bear in mind that siblings of currently enrolled children at Great Beginnings do have priority placement on the wait list. 

When a spot becomes available for your child, the center will contact you either by phone or email and give you till the close of the following business day to confirm your interest in the spot. At the time of confirming your interest, you will be required to pay the security deposit of $300 per family to secure your spot at the center. Families who do not accept the spot or do not respond within the allotted time will be automatically removed from the wait list and the spot will be offered to the next person in line. As such, it is imperative that families on our wait list remain in constant communication with the center and keep us updated on any address, phone number or email changes.

Great BeginningsEarlyLearningCenter’s goal is and will always be to make the best possible effort to get your child admitted to the center and to make a spot available to your family when a space becomes available in the class of your interest.
