The "Dolphins" is our other 2 Years Old Class
Our Dolphins is our other 2 year old program is designed specifically for the older 2's who are staring to prepare for transition to the Cubs class (3-4 Year Olds). This class also utilizes the ABEKA curriculum which presents both educational and developmental activities designed to help your early learner increase their cognition, comprehension and fine & gross motor skills. The Teachers also supplement with their own creative ideas. Our Dolphins class is designed for 10 children and 2 teachers. The class has a Maximum Ratio of 8 children to a Teacher and provides a wide variety of hands-on learning opportunities throughout the day including activities that encourage socialization skills, letter and number recognition, pre-reading, dance, music, recreational play and socialization skills designed to present your early learner with a variery of activities that will support their overall development.
The Dolphins class is also the class were potty training is perfected as children can not graduate up to the next class until they are completely potty trained. The teachers in this class are highly skilled in this area amongst others and implement a variety of reward based methods to get your older 2 going and staying dry like a big kid.
Activities include: painting, coloring, puzzles, blocks, indoor and outdoor recreational play, music and dance, story and circle time, singing, reading, motor activities, lesson review and group, individual & teacher directed activities. The curriculum for the 2 year old class builds on the skills learned in the Little Lambs class as well as incorporates new concepts in the ABEKA cirrculum for 2 year olds and innovative concepts that are teacher directed and designed; It encourages the development of new skills, making friendships, stimulating learning and equiping them with language aquisition, color, shape, number and letter recognition and social skills.

10:30am – 11:30am 1/2 Walk / 1/2 Outside Time
11:30am – 12:30pm Clean Up /Lunch Time/Clean Up
12:30pm – 2:30pm Rest/Quiet/Nap Time
2:30pm – 3:30pm Clean Up Time/Afternoon Snack
3:30pm – 4:15pm Lesson Review Time
4:15pm - 4:30pm Clean Up Time
4:30pm – 5:30pm Outside Time
5:30pm – 6:00pm Tabletop Toys
*During clean-up time the children are responsible for straightening their play equipment, diapers are checked, ALL of the children wash their hands.
