The "Cubs" is our 3 to 5 Year Old Class

 

Our Cubs daily schedule is carefully designed to meet each child's individual needs, as well as ensure that developmental milestones are reached in an environment where their learning is enriched through active engagement in the learning process; with teacher directed activies, self directed play, group and individual learning and the use of the ABEKA Curriculum. The class has a Maximum Ratio of 9 children to a Teacher and the skills taught build upon the ones learned in earlier educational stages as teachers meet children at their level of learning and engage them in activities to stimulate their overall growth and development.


Lessons include activities to enhance skills in:
• Pre and Beginning Reading
• Pre and Beginning Math
• Nature & Science

• Arts & Crafts
• Fine and Gross Motor Skills Enhancement
• Music, Creative Expression & Dance

• Social, Communication & 
Recreational Play

 *During clean-up time the children are responsible for straightening their play equipment, children use the potty and ALL of the children wash their hands.
